Class B Touch Freight Driver — $26.00 per Hour

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable Class B CDL Driver for a local, home-daily position supporting our client’s operations in Middletown, Ohio. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $26.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 4:00 a.m.
• Shift length: 8- to 10-hour shifts

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight: Cabinets, hardware, laminate, and glue
• Equipment: Straight truck with curtainside trailer
• Handling: Light touch; forklift loading and unloading

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment on local routes.
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
• Perform required loading and unloading tasks using a forklift.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic trucks.
• Forklift experience required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
