About the Position

TransForce is seeking dependable CDL Class A Drivers for a dedicated automotive delivery operation in Temple, Texas. This position offers guaranteed weekly pay, local routes, and home daily. Drivers will support daytime pickup and delivery operations or overnight drop-and-hook relay routes, with new hires typically starting on night routes or the extra board.

Pay & Schedule

• $1,180 guaranteed weekly pay
• Up to $1,330 per week for extra board assignments
• Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional Sunday work
• 8–14 hours per day
• Daytime and overnight routes available, with flexibility required

Job Details

• Route type: Local pickup and delivery (P&D) and overnight relay routes
• Equipment: Manual transmission tractor-trailers, 3 years old or newer
• Freight: Automotive parts
• Handling: No-touch freight, including drop-and-hook operations
• Route distance: Approximately 250–350 miles from the terminal
• Dispatch: Scheduled pickup and delivery windows
• Slip seating: Trucks shared between assigned route drivers
• Extra board: On-call assignments with required response and reporting windows

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on assigned local delivery or relay routes.
• Complete daytime pickups and deliveries or overnight drop-and-hook assignments.
• Meet scheduled pickup and delivery windows for time-sensitive automotive freight.
• Communicate route delays or schedule changes with dispatch and other assigned drivers.
• Remain available for on-call assignments when scheduled on the extra board.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate trip records and comply with Hours of Service regulations.
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A driving experience
• Valid CDL Class A license with no automatic transmission restriction
• Experience operating manual transmission tractor-trailers
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Flexibility to work daytime, overnight, and occasional Sunday shifts
• Ability to meet extra board availability and reporting requirements
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
