This CDL B driver role is based in Cohoes, New York, and pays $29.50 per hour. The position is local and combines approximately 70% driving with 30% warehouse work, including deliveries of pipe, valves, and fittings. This TransForce driving opportunity offers consistent weekday work in Cohoes with a mix of delivery and warehouse responsibilities.

This role requires non-excepted interstate self-certification, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort operating flatbed vehicles.

Pay & Schedule

• $29.50 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay of $1140
• Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Overtime is likely
• Local work based in Cohoes, New York

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive Ford F-250 pickups, Ford F-550 flatbeds, and International flatbed vehicles with automatic transmissions.
• Deliver pipe, valves, and fittings on routes extending approximately two hours from the branch location.
• Secure loads and verify weight compliance.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel vehicles, and report maintenance issues.
• Pick up returns and local purchase orders and obtain customer signatures on delivery tickets.
• Pick and pack orders, receive materials, stock shelves, organize inventory, and help load and unload trucks.

What You Need

• Valid CDL B
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Non-excepted interstate self-certification issued by the state
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Professional customer service and communication skills
• Comfort working around driver-facing and vehicle-mounted cameras
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
