Local CDL A Driver - Heavy Touch - $30 Per Hour - Kansas City, Missouri

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Local CDL A Driver for our client in Kansas City, Missouri. This position offers a pay rate of $30 per hour and involves local delivery routes while hauling heavy construction equipment and parts.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $30 per hour with overtime after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 11:30 PM until work is completed

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a dry van, tractor, sprinter, or straight truck
• 2 - 12 stops per night, up to 330 miles. 
• Scan, sort, and load/unload freight at point of origin and delivery locations
• Unloading freight at store locations using forklifts or pallet jacks
• Handle touch freight that could weigh up to 100 lbs at drop box locations

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to be trained on the forklift
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
