TransForce is seeking a Local CDL A Driver to support operations based in Woodland, CA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Driver Details
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 5 am - 3 pm, 8 hour shifts, home daily
- Pay: $27/hr
- Route Type: Local, port work
- Freight / Load Type: general freight
- Handling: No Touch, drop and hook
CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Endorsements: TWIC Preferred
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
CDL A Driver Responsibilities:
- Safely operate equipment on local delivery routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role
