Local CDL A Driver - $29 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in O'Fallon, MO. 

Seasonal:  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details 

• Schedule: Monday- Friday W/ Weekends OFF, 6am start time, 40-50 hours per week 

• Pay: $29 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours

• Route Type: Local

• Freight / Load Type: Hauling mulch and compost

• Equipment:  Open, Dump Style Truck

• Handling: Touch is only needed if there is a build up of mulch/compost in the trailer and it will not slide out of the trailer on its own. In that case, the driver would climb in to release. 

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport mulch in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including releasing build-up in trailer as needed

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
