About the Position

Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Driver for deliveries to grocery stores throughout Ohio. This position offers $30 per hour, no-touch freight, and a Friday through Sunday schedule with home-daily routes.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $30 per hour
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Four shift options available
• Shifts are approximately 8–10 hours per day
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Freight: Bakery goods, milk, dry goods, and general grocery products
• Equipment: Automatic day cabs with reefer and dry van trailers
• Transmission: Automatic
• Handling: No-touch freight, including drop-and-hook and live unloads
• Home daily

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to local grocery stores throughout Ohio
• Transport bakery goods, milk, general grocery products, and dry goods
• Perform drop-and-hook and live-unload operations
• Complete slip-seat operations as required
• Operate automatic day cab equipment safely and professionally

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Valid CDL A
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
