Local, Home Daily CDL A Driver – $27/hr. + OT + Bonuses + Union Benefits
Location: Chicago, IL
Position Type: Full-Time

- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles
- Transport and deliver goods efficiently while following all DOT regulations
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and procedures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, inspections, and deliveries
- Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to changing conditions
- Communicate with Dispatch regarding schedules, delays, or issues
- Process returns and relay customer feedback or product concerns
- Assist in training new drivers as needed
- Local routes – Home daily
- Work Week: 6 days per week
- Shift Times: Start times range from 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Shift Structure: Routes and shift blocks are bid every 90 days based on union seniority
- Hours: Typically 8–12 hours per shift
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 2 years of CDL-A driving experience
- Clean MVR (no violations in the past 5 years)
- Ability to work a 6-day schedule with flexible hours
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety protocols at all times
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Union position (membership required after 60 days)
