Local CDL A Driver – No-Touch Nights | $1,500–$1,600 per Week

Location: Joliet, Illinois

About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Drivers for a local, direct-hire opportunity supporting our client’s nighttime operations. This position offers consistent Monday–Friday work, home-daily routes, and no-touch drop-and-hook freight.

Pay & Schedule

Estimated weekly pay: $1,500–$1,600
Pay rate: Up to $0.69 per mile, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with Saturdays as needed
Dispatch time: 5:30 p.m. nighttime dispatch
Hours: 40 hours per week
Home time: Home daily

Job Details

Daily activity: Approximately 2–5 deliveries per day
Equipment: Freightliner and International trucks with automatic and manual transmissions

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles on local routes.
Transport furniture in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
Safely complete drop-and-hook deliveries.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
