Local CDL A Driver – Tuesday–Saturday – $30 Per Hour

Location: Delaware, Ohio

About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced Local CDL A Drivers for delivery routes serving grocery stores throughout Ohio. This is a home-daily, no-touch position with automatic transmission equipment and multiple shift options available.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $30 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Options: Four start times available
• Shift Length: 8–10 hours per day
• Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
• Home Time: Home daily

Job Details

• Route Type: Local delivery
• Freight: Bakery goods, milk, dry goods, and general grocery products
• Equipment: Automatic day cabs, refrigerated trailers, and dry vans
• Transmission: Automatic
• Freight Handling: No-touch freight, including drop-and-hook and live unloads

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and grocery products to local stores throughout Ohio.
• Safely operate automatic day cab equipment and assigned trailers.
• Complete drop-and-hook and live-unload deliveries.
• Perform slip-seat operations as required.
• Maintain compliance with applicable transportation regulations and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
