Local CDL A Driver – $25/Hour, Overtime After 40 Hours

Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver to support local delivery operations for our client in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This dedicated, on-site position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily routes, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $25 per hour
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturdays
• Dispatch window: Between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Home time: Home daily

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery routes throughout North Carolina and South Carolina
• Freight: Mail
• Stops: Typically 1–2 stops per route
• Equipment: Automatic-transmission tractor-trailer
• Handling: Light-touch freight, including unloading rolling carts and using a manual pallet jack

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer on local delivery routes
• Transport mail in accordance with DOT and safety standards
• Complete required loading and unloading tasks using rolling carts and a manual pallet jack
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
• Meet the physical demands of the position

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
