Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Hazmat Driver in Wichita, Kansas. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $26.23 per hour with over time after 8 hours a day and Pay Raise after 60 days. 

About the Position

This is a direct hire position requiring on-site work. The role involves driving a CDL A vehicle and handling animal products and potentially hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Customer-facing.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $26.23 Per Hour After 60 days pay is $27.23 a hour 
• Over time after 8 hours a day 
• Guaranteed  43 hours a week 
• All PPE provided 
• Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL A vehicle in compliance with all safety regulations
• Transport hazardous materials safely and efficiently
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation
• Adhere to all DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Frequently must push, pull, move or lift up to 75-200 lbs.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience
• CDL A license with Hazmat endorsement
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
