Local CDL A Driver – $28 per Hour

Location: Independence, Missouri

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable local CDL A driver for a second-shift position in Independence, Missouri. This opportunity offers consistent Monday through Friday routes, hourly pay, and no-touch freight. The driver must be able to operate a manual transmission.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $28 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross: $1,400
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Shift: Second shift (12 PM to 10 PM)

Job Details

• Route type: Local - to Marshall, MO and back. Typically 2 runs per day.
• Freight: Paper and food cartons.
• Handling: No-touch freight, drop & hook.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a MANUAL tandem axle day cab, pulling a 53' swing door trailer on local routes.
• Follow all applicable transportation and safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• The ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
