About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable CDL A Driver for a local delivery opportunity in Saco, Maine. You will deliver pre-hung doors to millwork stores throughout Maine, New Hampshire, and Connecticut while providing professional customer service and safe, reliable transportation.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $33 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Start time at 6:00 a.m., with a flexible start time available
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Typical workdays are 8 to 10 hours
• Occasional overnight trips to Vermont may be required
• Temp-to-perm opportunity

Job Details

• Route type: Local and regional delivery routes
• Freight: Pre-hung doors and occasional molding
• Equipment: 48-foot dry van truck, with occasional curtainside delivery
• Handling: Heavy-touch deliveries involving items weighing approximately 100 to 125 pounds
• Average stops: 7 to 12 deliveries per day
• Delivery area: Maine, New Hampshire, and Connecticut

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 48-foot dry van truck on assigned delivery routes
• Deliver pre-hung doors to millwork stores
• Complete approximately 7 to 12 stops per day
• Handle and move freight weighing up to 125 pounds
• Perform occasional curtainside deliveries of molding
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and provide professional customer service
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 125 pounds
