About the Position

We are seeking a Local CDL A Driver for local deliveries to grocery stores throughout Ohio. This home-daily position offers no-touch freight, automatic transmission equipment, and the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $30 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours
• Schedule: Wednesday through Sunday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Length: 8 to 10 hours per day
• Four different shift start times are available
• Home daily
• Employment type: Temp to Perm

Job Details

• Route Type: Local delivery
• Freight: Bakery goods, milk, dry goods, and general grocery products
• Equipment: Automatic day cabs, reefer trailers, and dry vans
• Handling: No-touch freight, including drop-and-hook and live unloads

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and grocery products to local stores throughout Ohio
• Safely operate automatic-transmission day cabs, reefer trailers, and dry vans
• Complete drop-and-hook and live-unload deliveries
• Perform slip-seat operations as required
• Maintain compliance with applicable transportation regulations and safety standards

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Valid CDL A
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
