Local CDL A Drivers – Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay: $1,000–$1,500 per week, with benefits

About the Position

Our client is seeking full-time and part-time CDL A drivers to support dedicated transportation operations in the Knoxville area. These positions offer flexible scheduling, home-daily and home-weekly options, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $1,000–$1,500 per week
• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• Monday through Saturday operating schedule
• Four-day work week options
• Flexible scheduling
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Temp-to-perm employment opportunity

Job Details

• Route types: Local, regional, over-the-road, and team positions
• Freight: Various types of freight
• Handling: Light touch, touch, no-touch, drop-and-hook
• Equipment: Automatic transmission vehicles
• Home time: Home daily, home weekly, and over-the-road runs available
• Dedicated route opportunities available

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle while complying with all applicable regulations.
• Transport freight on assigned local, regional, or over-the-road routes.
• Complete touch, no-touch, drop-and-hook, and light-touch freight assignments as required.
• Accurately maintain electronic logs and required trip documentation.
• Perform required vehicle inspections and promptly report maintenance concerns.
• Provide professional service while representing the transportation team.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Electronic logging device experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
