About the Position

Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Flatbed Driver/Yard Hostler for an on-site, long-term flexible assignment in Fort Worth. This role involves moving trailers within the yard as needed and includes an initial day of training before future assignments.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay rate: $26 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Sunday, with shifts varying between days and nights
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Long-term flexible assignment
• Start date: August 19, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery and yard operations

• Equipment: CDL A equipment and yard trailers
• Handling: Heavy-touch work, including safely lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving heavy loads

Key Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely and efficiently within the yard.
• Support local delivery and yard operations based on business needs.
• Complete required initial training before beginning future assignments.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Remain flexible to support varying operational needs and assignments.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move heavy loads.
