Local CDL A Shuttle Driver – $33.75 per Hour

Location: Fremont, California

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a professional CDL A Shuttle Driver for a local, home-daily position in Fremont. This direct-hire opportunity offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, modern equipment, competitive pay, and benefits available from Day 1.

Pay & Schedule Details

Pay: $33.75 per hour
Average weekly pay: $1,450
Hours per week: 40
Overtime available after 40 hours
Consistent pay increases
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Home daily
Anticipated start date: June 1, 2026

Job Details

Route type: Local shuttle
Freight: Logistics freight
Equipment: 53-foot trailers and late-model, well-maintained equipment
Handling: No-touch freight
Move trailers in and out of loading doors

Key Responsibilities

Perform local shuttle runs and move 53-foot trailers in and out of loading doors.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate driving and work logs.
Secure loads and verify trailer conditions.
Follow all DOT regulations and safety procedures.
Operate equipment safely and professionally.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience.
Experience operating 53-foot trailers.
Valid DOT Medical Card.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
