Location: Lenoir, North Carolina

About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced local CDL-A Shuttle Driver for an on-site, third-shift position. This role involves shuttle runs and moving 53-foot trailers in and out of loading doors. Drivers are home daily and operate modern, well-maintained equipment.

Pay & Schedule

• $31.50 per hour
• Average weekly pay of $1,350
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Consistent pay increases
• Monday through Friday
• 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• 40 hours per week
• Home daily

Key Responsibilities

• Perform local shuttle runs and move 53-foot trailers in and out of loading doors.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate driving and vehicle inspection logs.
• Secure loads and verify trailer conditions.
• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and workplace safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL-A driving experience, including experience within the last 3 years.
• Experience operating 53-foot trailers.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
