Local CDL A Truck Driver | $22.50hr | Defuniak Springs, FL

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Defuniak Springs, FL. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Driver Details 

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, some Saturdays, 3:30 to 5:30 am start, 9-12/day, home daily
• Pay: $22.50hr
• Route Type: Local
• Freight / Load Type: General Freight
• Equipment: Flatbed, Automatic transmission
• Handling: Light Touch

CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience in the last 5 years
• Equipment Experience: 1+ year of verifiable Flatbed experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) 
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate a flatbed truck on local routes 
• Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 
• Perform required handling tasks, including securing loads
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 
• Meet the physical demands of the role
