About the Position

Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for dedicated store deliveries throughout South Carolina and North Carolina. This role offers home-daily routes, automatic day cab equipment, and no-touch freight.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $0.58 per mile
• Mileage and stop pay
• 40 hours per week
• 10–11-hour shifts
• Midnight start time
• Thursday and Friday off
• Home daily

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Delivery area: Stores throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, including Wilmington, Charleston, and Raleigh
• Freight: No-touch freight
• Handling: Mostly drop and hook, with occasional live unloads
• Equipment: Automatic Freightliner and Volvo day cab trucks
• Employment type: Dedicated

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automatic day cab truck on local delivery routes
• Deliver freight to stores throughout South Carolina and North Carolina
• Complete drop-and-hook operations and occasional live unloads
• Follow all applicable safety, transportation, and delivery procedures
• Maintain accurate delivery and mileage records

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must be at least 21 years old
