About the Position

We are seeking a professional CDL Class A Driver for a local, home-daily delivery position in Hanover, Maryland. This role offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and the opportunity to provide safe and reliable service on established local routes.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $29.36 per hour
• Schedule: Sunday through Friday
• Dispatch window: Between 8:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.
• Typical shift length: 8–10 hours
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
• Home daily

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an automatic transmission Class A tractor on local delivery routes.
• Complete 2–3 deliveries per shift to customer locations.
• Handle freight using an electric pallet jack and perform occasional down-stacking when required.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete required DOT paperwork and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Ensure safe and timely deliveries.
• Follow all applicable DOT regulations and safety policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience operating similar equipment within the last 5 years.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible overnight schedule and overtime as needed.
