About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Yard and Shuttle Driver to support local operations for our client in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. This on-site position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. The assignment is temp-to-perm.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $29.50 per hour
• Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
• Hours: 10:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Start date: August 5, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Freight: Trailers
• Equipment: Day cab and yard truck
• Handling: No-touch yard jockey and shuttle work
• Work environment: Primarily yard operations with occasional local shuttle runs

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes and within the yard.
• Shuttle trailers in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform yard jockey and related handling tasks.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
• Meet the physical demands of the role.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• No endorsements required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
