Local CDL A or B Shuttle Driver – $24/Hour

Location: Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a CDL A or B Driver for local shuttle operations in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. This is a long-term FLEX assignment with the opportunity to move into a permanent position. Drivers will operate local routes, transport general freight and mulch, and return home daily.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $24 per hour
• Overtime: Overtime pay after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, with a rare Saturday
• Start time: 5:00–6:00 a.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Long-term FLEX
• Home time: Home daily

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery and shuttle routes
• Freight: Shuttles, general freight, and mulch
• Handling: Heavy touch; pallet jack assistance required
• Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles on local routes.
• Transport freight and mulch in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Assist with freight handling using a pallet jack.
• Meet the physical demands of the role.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Experience using electronic logging devices.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
