About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL B Driver for a local delivery position in Wilmington, Massachusetts. This temp-to-perm opportunity involves delivering HVAC equipment within a 100-mile radius while providing professional and reliable customer service.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $28.35 per hour
• Employment type: Temp to perm
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 5:30 a.m.
• Hours per day: 9–10 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Anticipated start date: May 12, 2026

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Delivery area: Within a 100-mile radius
• Freight: HVAC equipment
• Equipment: Straight trucks and automatic-transmission trucks
• Handling: Pallet jack or dolly, with some liftgate use
• Trucks are preloaded
• Handling level: Heavy touch

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver HVAC equipment to designated locations safely and on schedule.
• Operate a straight truck safely and efficiently on local routes.
• Use pallet jacks, dollies, and liftgates to assist with loading and unloading.
• Provide professional service at delivery locations.
• Follow all applicable safety regulations and operating policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL B.
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
