About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL B Truck Driver to support local delivery operations for our client in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This long-term flex opportunity offers consistent weekday work, local routes, automatic equipment, and the potential for permanent placement.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $24.00 per hour
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 6:30 a.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment type: Long-term flex
• Work setting: On-site

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery
• Freight: Paper
• Equipment: Automatic trucks
• Handling: Light-touch freight, including unloading with a pallet jack, dolly, and occasional hand unloading

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles on local routes.
• Transport paper freight in accordance with DOT and applicable safety standards.
• Unload deliveries using a pallet jack, dolly, and by hand when necessary.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL B license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
