About the Position

Our client is seeking a reliable CDL A Driver for a short-term flex shuttle assignment based in Columbus, Ohio. This home-daily opportunity includes a Columbus-to-Pittsburgh round-trip route, no-touch laundry freight, and drop-and-hook operations.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $27.50 per hour
• Schedule: Start time at 4:00 p.m.
• Average 8–10 hours per day
• 40 hours per week
• Short-term flex coverage: August 31–September 2, 2026
• Home daily

Job Details

• Route type: Columbus to Pittsburgh and back
• Freight: Laundry freight
• Freight handling: No-touch freight
• Trailer operations: Drop and hook
• Equipment: Automatic transmission truck with a forward-facing camera
• Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL A vehicle on the Columbus-to-Pittsburgh round-trip route.
• Transport laundry freight while following all applicable safety and transportation regulations.
• Complete drop-and-hook trailer operations.
• Perform assigned duties professionally and maintain reliable attendance throughout the flex assignment.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• 3 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
