Non-CDL Yard Switcher | $22 Per Hour | Ladson, SC

TransForce is seeking a non-CDL yard switcher to support local yard operations based in Ladson, South Carolina. 

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

Non-CDL Yard Switcher Details 

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, start time between 6AM and 7AM

• Pay:  $22 Per Hour

• Equipment: Switcher truck

• Handling: Yard spotting

Non-CDL Yard Switcher Minimum Requirements:  

• License: Non-CDL

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Equipment Experience: Yard Switcher

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

Non-CDL Yard Switcher Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate switcher trucks within the yard 

• Moving trailers on the. yard - operating a Switcher Truck - should feel comfortable backing into tight spaces

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
