About the Position

Our client is seeking dependable Non-CDL Drivers for a local heavy-touch food delivery position in Brooklyn, New York. Drivers will deliver food throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut while returning home daily. This temp-to-perm opportunity includes paid training and ongoing support from TransForce.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $21 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross pay: $1,000
• Schedule: 5 days per week; weekends may be included
• AM shift
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Home daily
• Paid training

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Freight: Food deliveries
• Equipment: Automatic refrigerated box trucks
• Handling: Heavy touch; load the truck and unload deliveries by hand or with hand carts at customers’ homes
• Service area: New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut

Key Responsibilities

• Operate an automatic refrigerated box truck safely and professionally.
• Load the truck before beginning the delivery route.
• Deliver food products to customers’ homes throughout the service area.
• Unload and handle deliveries by hand or with hand carts.
• Provide courteous, reliable service at each delivery location.
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable box truck or sprinter van driving experience.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
