About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Driver for a local, home-daily delivery position in The Bronx. This role involves heavy-touch food delivery throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Drivers will receive paid training and may have the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay rate: $21 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross: $1,000
• 40 hours per week
• AM shift
• Five days per week; weekends may be included
• Home daily
• Paid training
• Employment type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
• Load the truck before beginning delivery routes.
• Drive automatic refrigerated box trucks safely and responsibly.
• Unload deliveries by hand or with hand carts at customers' homes.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable box truck or Sprinter van driving experience.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
