Non-CDL Driver - $22 per Hour

About the Position

Our client is seeking a reliable Non-CDL Driver for a local, on-site position hauling empty bottles and cans across Central New York. This role involves pickups from local small businesses and retail stores, along with physical loading responsibilities.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $22 per hour
• Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Daily Schedule: 10-hour days
• Peak Season: Schedules may increase to 50–60 hours
• Employment Type: Temp-to-perm
• Work Arrangement: On-site

Job Details

• Route Type: Local routes throughout Central New York
• Freight: Empty bottles and cans
• Equipment: Trailer loading and unloading operations
• Handling: Heavy-touch work, including identifying, tagging, carrying, and loading bags weighing up to 50 pounds

Key Responsibilities

• Haul empty bottles and cans from local small businesses and retail stores.
• Identify and tag bags of bottles and cans.
• Carry five to six bags by hand at a time.
• Load bags onto the trailer safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate unloading at the warehouse with warehouse staff.
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Ability to safely lift and move bags weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
