Non-CDL Touch Freight Driver — $24 per Hour

About the Position

Our client is seeking Non-CDL Drivers for a local delivery position based in Taunton, Massachusetts. Drivers will deliver electronics throughout New England and provide professional white glove loading and unloading services. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity with consistent support and benefits through TransForce.

Pay & Schedule

• $24 per hour
• Monday through Friday
• 3:00 a.m. start time
• 8-hour workdays
• 40 hours per week
• Local work based in Taunton, Massachusetts
• Temporary-to-permanent employment

Job Details

• Route type: Local deliveries throughout New England
• Freight: Electronics delivered to small offices and warehouses
• Equipment: 16-foot box truck, refrigerated box truck, or cargo van
• Handling: Light-touch and white glove deliveries using a liftgate, pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or hand cart

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 16-foot box truck, refrigerated box truck, or cargo van.
• Deliver electronics to offices, warehouses, and other local destinations throughout New England.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• Provide complete white glove delivery service.
• Break down pallets completely when required.
• Represent TransForce and our client professionally at each delivery location.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT medical card.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• At least 21 years old.
• Experience with white glove liftgate deliveries.
