About the Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Dock Worker with a valid CDL Class A license to support local, on-site operations in La Porte, Indiana. This dedicated position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, home-daily assignments, and the opportunity to join a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $31.63 per hour, plus overtime
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Additional schedule: Two Sunday mornings per month, approximately four hours each
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment type: Dedicated
• Location: On-site in La Porte, Indiana
• Home time: Home daily

Job Details

• Route type: Local delivery and facility operations
• Freight and handling: Light-touch warehouse work and forklift operations
• Equipment: CDL A equipment and trailers
• Dock operations: Back trailers into dock doors as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment while backing trailers into dock doors.
• Transport and position equipment in accordance with DOT and applicable safety standards.
• Perform warehouse, dock, forklift, and other required handling tasks.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
• Follow all workplace and equipment safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• No endorsements required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
