About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced Yard Switchers for a local, on-site opportunity in Montgomery. This role involves operating a yard truck and moving trailers within the facility. Drivers must have a valid CDL and previous yard switching experience.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay rate: $21–$22 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Temp to Perm
• Home daily

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a yard truck safely and efficiently.
• Switch and position 53-foot dry van trailers throughout the yard.
• Perform yard switching duties involving no-touch freight.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
• Previous yard switching experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
