Essential Job Functions:
Educate and train students to gain skills, knowledge and behaviors and support their successful entry into the workplace or higher education, in a manner that supports the program within industry and the community and is consistent with District Core Values.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
- Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
- Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment, maintaining an appropriate balance of classroom discipline.
- Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. - prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.).
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech.
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements:
- This position requires at least three (3) years of experience as an Over the Road (OTR) driver; teaching experience with adult learners is preferred.
- Must have and maintain a current Commercial Driver's License(CDL), Class-A Driver's License with Tanker/Hazmat (X) and Double &Triple (T) endorsements.
- Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record that meets ODOT regulations and standards.

- Requires flexability to work one of the following schedules (not to exceed 19 hours per week)
- 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
- 5:00 to 10:00 pm (Monday - Thursday)
Salary Schedule:
Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees
Hiring Range:
$35 per hour
