Job Requirements
- Openings Needed: 1
- Pay:
- $21.25
- Hours:
- Start and stop times vary depending on daily load details
- Start time is almost always consistent
- Summer Hours: 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Winter Hours: 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Responsible for operating a commercial vehicle and hauling live swine
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
- Applicants considered for the Day Haul Driver position only
- Transport live swine of various ages to various locations
- Ensure proper animal handling practices are followed

Job Requirements
- Must pass:
- DOT urine drug test
- Hair follicle drug test
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid Class A CDL in state of residence
- Must have 12 months or more of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must pass:
- DOT Physical Examination
- DOT Drug Screening
- Hair follicle drug test
- Road test
- Must live in defined hiring area
- Must be willing to park at designated parking area
- Must meet Tyson Driver Evaluation System standards (no disqualifying accidents or convictions)
- Must not have:
- DUI/DWI in a commercial motor vehicle
- DUI/DWI in a personal vehicle within the last 8 years
- Positive DOT drug or alcohol test within the past 3 years
- Must meet Tyson minimum qualification requirements on PSP report
- Safe Driving Bonus based on:
- Years of service
- No safety violations annually
- Training:
- No additional equipment training required outside of tractor/trailer
- Transport Quality Assurance (TQA) training for safe transport of live animals
