CDL A Delivery Driver – Position Overview​

Join us in delivering more than just food; we deliver trust, reliability, and a promise of excellence. You’ll safely navigate the highway and city streets, back into tight docks, and unload with precision. The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it’s about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.​

Key Responsibilities​

• Safe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner​
• Unloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freight​
• Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signatures​
• Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience​
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards​
• Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable​
• Adaptability: All other duties assigned by management​

Physical Requirements​

• Lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required​
• Working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required​

Qualifications​

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*​
• Must be at least 21 years of age​
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications​
• Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required​
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations​
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records​

Registering to the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement by the Department of Transportation. All Drivers are required to visit the Clearinghouse website and register to the new database. The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that provides real-time information about commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders’ drug and alcohol program violations. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.  The expected base rate for this role is between $35 and $37

As applicable this role may also receive overtime compensation.
