Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
The Intervention Facilitator will co-lead the virtual family-based group sessions, including implementing the program curriculum, leading group discussions, overseeing the virtual physical activity sessions, providing feedback to participants, and guiding participants in setting weekly physical activity goals. She/he will oversee participant engagement, including delivering weekly attendance reminders to participants (e.g., calls/text) and conducting makeup sessions by phone as needed for missed sessions. She/he will be responsible for collection of weekly attendance data and will attend weekly meetings with the research team to review program implementation, discuss challenges, and receive feedback.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Sciences, Counseling Education, Social Work, Public Health, Exercise Science, or a related field with at least 2 years of related experience. This position requires flexibility in work schedule to include evening hours and experience coordinating research studies is preferred.
