Full Description
Local Driver | Brooklyn Area | $78K-$85K/Year | Flatbed Training Provided
Never run flatbed? That's not a dealbreaker here. If you've got the CDL and the experience, the right candidate gets trained on flatbed, so this is a way to add a skill and a bigger paycheck.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL EARN
Drivers make between $78,000 and $85,000 a year, paid weekly. That's roughly $1,500 to $1,635 a week (my math from the yearly range).
- $0.75 per hub mile
- $23 for every live load
- $34 for tarping
YOUR WEEK
Monday to Friday, home every day. Start times land anywhere between midnight and 4 a.m., so you're finished early and the rest of the day is yours. Saturday work comes up now and then when it's needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DRIVE AND HAUL
Dedicated local routes with flatbed, dry van and Conestoga trailers. The equipment is new.
BEFORE YOU APPLY
- Valid Class A CDL
- 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
- 22 years or older
- An active profile in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse
- Flatbed experience is nice to have but not required
Background details come up later in the process, like any normal hiring step, so you can apply without hunting down records first.
THE PERKS
- Health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance
- Prescription drug coverage
- Paid time off, earned vacation and holiday pay
- 401(k) with company match
