CDL-A Local Driver - Tacoma, WA
Starting Location: Tacoma, WA
Earn an average of $77,740-$86,941 per year hauling building materials throughout Washington and Oregon. This dedicated position offers weekday scheduling, daily home time, a $10,000 bonus, and annual CPM increases. Complete orientation online and get trained on curtain-side and flatbed trailers.

Pay Details & Schedule
- Average Annual Pay: $77,740-$86,941
- Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,500-$1,700
- Hiring Bonus: $10,000
- Starting Pay: $0.49 CPM, increasing by $0.01 CPM annually up to $0.53 CPM
- Outsource Work: $300-$350 per day
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Start Times: 3:00 AM-5:00 AM
- Shift Length: 12-14 hours
- Occasional Saturdays based on customer demand
- Optional sixth day for additional income
- All six major holidays off, with the option to work if desired
- Daily home time
- Dedicated building materials account serving Washington and Oregon
- Deliver concrete, fiber, and siding to customer sites and local lumber yards
- Pick up raw materials in Halsey, OR, approximately 2-3 times per week, with the option to run up to five pickups per week
- Freight is live unloaded at customer locations
- Drivers must strap all loads and tarp as needed
- Assigned automatic day-cab trucks
- Trucks must remain at the account during time off
- Online orientation available
- Training provided on curtain-side and flatbed trailers
- May assist other accounts as needed
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck-driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must be willing and able to chain as weather conditions require
- Must be comfortable securing loads with straps and tarps
- Flatbed experience preferred
- Must wear required PPE and account-provided uniforms
- Automatic day-cab trucks
- Curtain-side and flatbed trailers
- Account-provided hard hat, safety glasses, reflective vest, and uniforms
- $75 annual steel-toe boot allowance
- Online orientation
