CDL-A Regional Touch Freight Driver | DOLLAR TREE - Joliet, IL
Earn $1,500-$1,700 per week on average, with top performers making $2,000+ weekly and annual earnings of $75,000-$100,000. This regional store-delivery position offers home time 3-4 times per week, experience-based mileage pay, and additional earnings for unloading, backhauls, and stops.

Job Details

Pay Details & Schedule
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,500-$1,700
- Top Weekly Pay: $2,000+
- Annual Earnings: $75,000-$100,000
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500, paid in installments through 180 days
- Experience-Based Mileage Pay:
- 0-11 months: $0.82 per mile
- 12-23 months: $0.83 per mile
- 24-35 months: $0.84 per mile
- 36+ months: $0.85 per mile
- Additional Pay: $245 per unloaded trailer, $70 per backhaul, and $25 per stop
- Home Time: 3-4 times per week, typically every other day for a 10-hour break
- Schedule: Must be available Sunday through Saturday. Workdays and shifts vary based on delivery schedules and the location of deliveries near home for the 34-hour reset.
Sign-On Bonus Payout:
- $250 after the first load
- $250 after 30 days
- $250 after 60 days
- $500 after 90 days
- $250 after 120 days
- $250 after 150 days
- $750 after 180 days

Job Details
- Starting Location: Joliet, Illinois
- Running Area: Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, and Kentucky
- Freight: 100% driver-unloaded touch freight delivering to retail stores
- Weekly Mileage: Approximately 800-1,000 miles
- Training: Two-day ride-along with a driver at $150 per day
- Equipment: International and Freightliner tractors
- Truck Parking: Drivers must park at either the Markham Terminal or the Joliet distribution center. Parking at home is not permitted.
- Support: On-site support staff available to assist drivers
- Valid Class A CDL
- Verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience; confirm the required minimum with recruiting before applying
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Patience and strong customer service skills
- Ability to safely unload physically demanding, stacked freight
- Willingness to follow safe unloading practices and work variable shifts and days
- Availability to work as scheduled, including weekends
- Paid vacation:
- 1 week after 1 year of service
- 2 weeks after 2 years
- 3 weeks after 7 years
- 4 weeks after 10 years
- On-site support staff
