CDL-A Regional Touch Freight Driver | DOLLAR TREE - Windsor, CT
Earn $1,600-$1,850 per week delivering dedicated store freight from Windsor, CT throughout New England and surrounding states. This regional position offers weekly home time, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, paid ride-along training, and additional pay for trailer unloads, backhauls, and NYC borough deliveries.

Earn $1,600-$1,850 per week delivering dedicated store freight from Windsor, CT throughout New England and surrounding states. This regional position offers weekly home time, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, paid ride-along training, and additional pay for trailer unloads, backhauls, and NYC borough deliveries.
Pay Details & Schedule
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,600-$1,850
- Advertised Annual Earnings: $104,000
- Top Performer Earnings: $2,500+ per week
- Base Mileage Pay: 0-11 months: $0.73; 1-2 years: $0.74; 2-3 years: $0.75; 3+ years: $0.76 per mile
- Additional Pay: $240 per fully unloaded trailer, $75 per backhaul, and $250 for NYC borough deliveries using 26-foot pup trailers
- All-In Pay: Up to $1.89 per mile, including base mileage pay and eligible additional earnings divided by miles
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 total - $250 on the first load, $250 at 30 days, $250 at 60 days, $500 at 90 days, $250 at 120 days, $250 at 150 days, and $750 at 180 days
- Home Time: Weekly for a 34-hour reset; weekend home time is not guaranteed
- Schedule: Night driving, weekends, and holidays required
- Training: 1-3 days of ride-along training at $150 per day
- Dedicated regional store-delivery account
- Approximately 900 miles per week, averaging 3 loads
- Routes across CT, MA, NH, VT, NY, RI, and ME, within approximately 1,066 miles of Windsor, CT
- 100% touch freight: Live unloading at stores, moving boxes individually with rollers
- Occasional deliveries to additional discount-store locations
- Secure truck and trailer parking required; authorized parking is available at designated store or distribution-center locations
- Immediate dispatch to Windsor, CT upon hire for training
- On-site support available 24/7
- Paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year, 2 weeks after 2 years, 3 weeks after 7 years, and 4 weeks after 10 years
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Patience and strong customer-service skills
- Must be physically able to unload freight and handle touch-freight deliveries
- Must be available for night driving, weekends, and holidays
- Must bring two weeks' worth of supplies to orientation
- Must follow secure truck and trailer parking requirements
