Flex Driver | Tyler Area | $43/Hr, 10 Hours Guaranteed Per Day
Think of this as a travel job where you get to choose your adventures. You'll support dedicated retail operations in different places around the country, with your lodging covered and your pay locked in before you leave.
HOW THE PAY WORKS
- Average around $1,635 a week, or $85,000 a year, for drivers who travel six to eight months a year
- $43 per hour while traveling
- A guaranteed 10 hours every travel day, so a short day still pays full
- $25 per day in per diem on top of that
- Local rates apply when you're working out of your home base
HOW THE TRAVEL WORKS
You'll be out 4 to 6 weeks at a time, with accommodations paid for. When you're back, you work out of the home base on a mix of shifts and start times. This is a high-travel role, so it suits someone who likes seeing new places and doesn't mind time away.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Valid Class A CDL
- 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
- 22 years or older
- A profile in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse
Background and qualification details come up later in the process, like any normal hiring step, so you can apply without digging up a pile of records first.
