CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Chicago, IL

Earn $1,200-$1,400 per week hauling intermodal freight from the Chicago area across Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, and Indiana. Enjoy daily home time, day or night shift opportunities, and a mix of drop-and-hook, live-load, and live-unload operations.
Pay Details

Weekly Pay Range: $1,200-$1,400
No sign-on bonus offered
No short-haul pay
No stop pay

Job Details

Dedicated intermodal container freight
Runs throughout Chicago and surrounding areas of WI, MI, IA, and IN
Mix of drop-and-hook, live loads, and live unloads
Heavy drop-and-hook activity at night
Out-of-state runs while returning home daily
Be prepared for Chicago-area traffic

Shift Details

Home Daily
Day and night shifts available
Work on scheduled days
Confirm assigned start times and weekly schedule during hiring

Job Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
First-seat, experienced drivers required
Clean driving record
Valid DOT Medical Card
No SAP drivers
