Full Description
Flatbed Driver | Spring Valley, IL | ~$2,200/Week + $2,500 Sign-On
You know steel, you know straps, and you know what a load is worth. This local and regional flatbed run pays like it, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus to get you started.
THE PAY
- Average about $2,200 a week, roughly $110,000 a year
- $0.625 per mile to start
- $20.75 per stop
- $29.50 for load securement, so tarping and strapping actually pays
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
THE WEEK
5 to 6 days, with morning start times that vary and an occasional Sunday departure. Expect 2 to 4 layovers a week. Loads are dispatched by seniority, so the longer you stay, the better your picks get.
THE LOAD
Steel on flatbed trailers, running a newer 2024 Freightliner day cab.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Valid Class A CDL
- 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
- 22 years or older
- An active profile in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse
Background details come up later in the process, like any normal hiring step, so there's no stack of records to dig up before you apply.
THE PACKAGE
- Health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance
- Prescription coverage
- Paid time off, earned vacation and ten paid holidays
- 401(k) with company match
If you want flatbed pay that rewards the work, apply today.
