Full Description
Delivery Driver | Boise Area | $1,120+/Week | $28/Hr + Overtime | Weekends Off
Picture a week where you're home most nights, off every weekend, and paid by the hour with overtime after 40. That's this local and regional delivery route, and it comes with a hotel (not the cab) on the rare nights you stay out.
HOW YOU GET PAID
- Earn $1,120 or more a week, about $58,240 a year, at 40 hours before overtime and layover pay
- $28.00 per hour, paid weekly
- Overtime after 40 hours
- $50 for every layover
A TYPICAL WEEK
Monday to Friday with morning start times that vary. You're mostly home daily, and weekends are yours. If a run needs an overnight, the company puts you up in a hotel instead of asking you to sleep in the truck.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Multi-stop deliveries in dry vans, bringing cases of alcohol to retail stores. You'll move product with an electric pallet jack and a two-wheel dolly, so expect hands-on work at each stop.
YOUR EQUIPMENT
Late-model Freightliners pulling 48' and 28' lift-gate trailers.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Valid Class A CDL
- 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
- 22 years or older
- An active profile in the federal drug and alcohol clearinghouse
Background and qualification details come up later in the process, like any normal hiring step, so you can apply without digging up records first.
THE BENEFITS
- Medical, dental and vision starting within 30 days
- 80 hours of vacation after one year, plus paid holidays and PTO
- 401(k) with a 50% match up to 6%
- HSA and FSA options
- Short and long-term disability
- Free virtual doctor visits
- Wellness and tuition reimbursement
