Pay Details & Schedule
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,200 when working the full schedule.
- Annual Earning Potential: Up to $70,000.
- Experience-Based Mileage Pay: 0-11 months: $0.45; 12-35 months: $0.47; 36-59 months: $0.50; 60-83 months: $0.51; 84-119 months: $0.52; 10+ years: $0.54 per mile.
- Minimum Mileage Pay: $41 for 0-50 miles; $48 for 51-75; $64 for 76-100; $74 for 101-125; $82 for 126-150; $84 for 151-175; $93 for 176-200; and $96 for 201-225 miles. Routes pay whichever is greater: mileage pay or the applicable minimum mileage band. Routes of 226+ miles are paid per mile.
- Stop Pay: $20 per stop.
- Sign-On Bonus: $2,500 total - $250 after the first load, $250 at 30 days, $250 at 60 days, $500 at 90 days, $250 at 120 days, $250 at 150 days, and $750 at 180 days.
- Home Time: Daily, with occasional overnight hotel stays and occasional 10-hour breaks on the road.
- Schedule: Night shifts starting between 8 PM and 11 PM. The current rotation is six days worked followed by a 34-hour restart, then five days worked followed by two days off. Weekends and holidays are required. Wednesday through Saturday are typically heavier freight days.
- Freight: 100% no-touch refrigerated freight for store deliveries.
- Running Area: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, within approximately 300 miles of the Henderson distribution center.
- Workload: Approximately 1,250 miles per week, with 1-3 routes per day and 1-3 stops per trip.
- Equipment: Slip-seat International, Freightliner, and Kenworth day-cab tractors.
- Training: One day of classroom training paid at $50, followed by 2-3 days of ride-along training paid at $100 per day.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from the distribution center every day is required.
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable daily transportation to and from the distribution center.
- Availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong safety awareness and customer service skills.
- Must ensure customers acknowledge arrival at each store.
- 24/7 On-Site Support
- Paid Vacation: 1 week after 1 year of service, 2 weeks after 3 years, 3 weeks after 7 years, and 4 weeks after 15 years.
