Full Description
Local Dedicated Driver | Tipp City, OH
Home every night, two days off in a row, and $1,700 to $2,000 a week in your first year. That's what this grocery run offers, and you pick the schedule that fits your life.
PICK YOUR SHIFT
Choose Sunday to Thursday, Monday to Friday, or Tuesday to Saturday. Start times vary, and dispatch is available around the clock if you need backup. Expect 10 to 12 hour days, roughly 50 hours a week.
WHAT YOU'LL EARN
Days pay $28 an hour. Nights pay $30. Work a weekend shift and add another $5 an hour on top. Start with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.
WHAT YOU'LL HAUL
Groceries for a dedicated retail customer. It's no-touch freight, and about 95% of loads are drop and hook, so you spend your time driving instead of waiting around. You'll be in newer-model Freightliners.
TO QUALIFY
You should be 22 or older with a valid Class A CDL and 9 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years. Your record should show no more than 3 moving violations and no more than 1 preventable DOT recordable accident in that same period. You'll also need to be registered in the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and meet English language proficiency standards.
PERKS
Health, vision, dental, life and disability coverage, plus prescriptions. You'll also get paid time off with holidays and earned vacation, and a 401(k) match.
