Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements-no Automatic Restriction to join our elite team fueling locomotives. This night shift position offers consistent, full-time hours, weekly pay, and year-round stability - no weather or seasonal slowdowns.

Why You'll Love This Job
- Annual Pay $65,296 +
- Guaranteed 42-hours year round

- Set PM shift schedule:
- 1 AM to 7 AM Wednesday
- 7 PM - 7 AM Thursday thru Saturday
- Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday OFF
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
- Manual transmission tractor with tanker (10-speed)
Responsibilities
- Work safely at all times without incident. You are empowered to STOP work at any time due to unsafe conditions.
- Safely fuel locomotives on an on-call basis during your scheduled shift - paid for the full 12 hours, regardless of the number of dispatches
- Respond promptly to all railroad dispatches.
- Complete accurate diesel accounting paperwork and perform pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspections
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follow all customer safety rules and regulations
- Report any spills or safety-related incidents immediately
- Assist with light maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and work area
- Maintain current training, licenses, and certifications
- Demonstrate reliability, safety, and professionalism through attendance, communication, and conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or Site Leader
What You Need to Bring
- CDL Class A with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements
- Manual transmission experience - no automatic restrictions
- Tractor-trailer driving experience (Hazmat hauling experience not required)
- Ability to pass DOT and company background checks
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Strong communication and time-management skills

Physical Requirements
- Able to consistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces
- May have to walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
- Able to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift and climb a ladder or steps 10 or more times per day
- Able to drive and work outside in adverse weather conditions
- Willing to work with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
