About the Opportunity

Velocity Rail Solutions is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (no automatic restriction) to join our elite team fueling locomotives. This night-shift, home-daily position offers consistent full-time hours, weekly pay, and year-round stability - no seasonal slowdowns.

You'll be paid for the entire 12-hour shift, including breaks, lunch, and dispatch wait time. Enjoy a predictable rotating schedule that gives you 60 hours most weeks. If you're looking for a local CDL job with purpose and stability, this is it.
Why You'll Love This Job

Annual Salary: $82,000 +
Paid Weekly
Rotating Schedule: 60 hours most weeks/ 48 hour every 3rd week
Set Night Schedule: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM with Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday off every 3rd week
Home Daily
Paid for full 12-hour shift (including wait and dispatch time)
Overtime after 40 hours
Manual transmission tractor with tanker (10-speed)

Job Duties

Operate as a mobile fueling station for the railroad
Haul and deliver fuel using a tractor-trailer tanker
Work on an on-call basis during your shift
- You are paid for the full shift regardless of the number of dispatches

What You Need to Bring

CDL Class A
Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements
No automatic restriction (manual equipment)
Tractor-trailer driving experience
(Hazmat hauling experience not required)
Ability to pass DOT physical and company background checks
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Strong communication and time-management skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb frequently
Walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
Climb in and out of truck cab multiple times per shift
Climb ladders or steps 10+ times per day
Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
Comfortable working with liquid hazardous and dry bulk materials
